But this is also a trial run — the next step in the process to see if/how the site will be used in actual practice, so finding a community to help build this site is part of that process. That doesn't typically mean broad, indiscriminate promotions... but locating folks who would likely want to help build this community should definitely be on the agenda for the private beta. One of the leading reasons private betas are closed: we couldn't find enough people interested in building the early site. | |
